Dr. Darushe Anissi, M.D., FACOG

Dr. Anissi graduated from 7 years of medical school in 1973 from Tehran University. He trained in OB/GYN in Rochester General Hospital for 4 years, finishing in 1979. He had one year of high risk OB/GYN training in Rochester General Hospital.

His special interest and training is in OB/GYN ultrasound and he is one of the pioneers in this field, especially in Rochester. He has special interest in fertility, menopausal problems and a more natural approach to gynecologic problems, holistic approaches to menopause, menopausal symptoms, PMS, and normal vaginal delivery.

Dr. Anissi presently does a complete OB/GYN practice, delivers babies, GYN surgery, including robotic surgery, laparoscopy and infertility. He treats some of his infertility patients with acupuncture and energy medicine.

He uses a combination of Eastern and Western medicine in treatment of his patients. He is a member of ACOG (fellow), AIUM – AAMA – IBA and Parma body talk. He enjoys classical music, bridge and enjoys spending time with his small dog.

  • Chronic pelvic pain and diagnosis of that pain via ultrasound

  • Infertility treatment such as tubal reanastomosis
  • Laparoscopic surgery, laser surgery and endometrial ablation

    of those problems
